A new trailer for the Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim DLC has debuted, revealing a release date of March 22. Check out the trailer for yourself below.

Of all the new content coming in the DLC, the biggest items include four new maps, a new game mode, two new Hero/Villain characters and more weapons and Star Cards.

The new maps see players return to Tatooine and Sullust. The Sullust maps revolve around a smelting factory and take players deep into the belly of the manufacturing planet. The Tatooine maps are all about Jabba the Hutt, involving the crime lord’s throne room and the prisoner barge from Star Wars Episode VI.

The new game mode, Extraction, sounds very similar to Capture the Flag. The Rebel team must transport a valuable shipment of goods to a spaceship. Obviously, it’s up to the Empire to stop this from happening.

The new hero included in the Outer Rim DLC is Nien Nunb. You may remember this guy as Lando Calrissian’s co-pilot in The Empire Strikes Back or as one of the Rebel X-wing pilots in The Force Awakens. The new villain is Greedo, the slimy bounty hunter who TOTALLY SHOT SECOND. I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU SAY, GEORGE.

As for the new weapons and Star Cards, players can expect to get their hands on the Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. The new Star Cards include the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim.

If you have purchased a Season Pass for Star Wars Battlefront, this DLC will be delivered to you on March 22. If you don’t have the pass, you can still get one for $49.99.

So what do you think? Are you excited to try out the new maps and game mode in Star Wars Battlefront’s Outer Rim DLC? What do you hope gets included in the next DLC? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
