The Game of Thrones cast and crew have promised us an epochal Season 6, with showrunner David Benioff calling it “the strongest season we’ve had.” As the show approaches its endpoint (the showrunners have estimated that only 13 episodes are left after Season 6) maybe it’s about time we finally get down to this whole multi-pronged invasion Westeros dealie. Could Season 6 finally see White Walkers marching toward King’s Landing? Will Daenerys and her dragons land in Dorne?
Since this season of Game of Thrones will be the first to outpace events in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series, predictions for the new season have even less grounding than normal. Sure, events like a Tower of Joy flashback and an immense battle against the Boltons have already been revealed in trailers, but beyond that, Game of Thrones Season 6 could go in all sorts of gonzo directions.
Whatever happens, it’s bound to be epochal. The writers of iDigitalTimes have some thoughts, which you can watch above.

The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 6 airs April 24 on HBO. From coverage of the premiere, we know a lot of the episode will take place at Castle Black. It seems likely that we won’t even have to wait for the end of the season premiere to see the return of Jon Snow. If our predictions are right, Jon Snow’s return could radically alter the balance of power in Westeros. After the Season 6 premier,e Game of Thrones will never be the same again.
