UPDATE 2: DLC Bundle 6 is now available in the Nintendo eShop as of 8pm EST. You will need to download version 1.1.4
DLC Bundle 6 is availble for $15.48 for one platform or $19.88 for both.
UPDATE: Nintendo will be performing maintenance on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS from 4:50 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. PST.
The final Super Smash Bros. 4 DLC is about to launch on the Nintendo eShop Feb. 3 . While it’s a bittersweet feeling that one of the best fighting games of the past two years will no longer see any substantial update, Nintendo is looking to end things with a bang.
With the inclusion of Bayonetta in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS, a character many thought wasn’t possible -- or appropriate -- is joining the fight and Corrin from the upcoming Fire Emblem Fates will be fight alongside her.
While Nintendo has announced the date of the Super Smash Bros 4 DLC, fans want to know what time the two characters and all of the goodies that come along with them will appear in the eShop.
Bayonetta will be priced at $6 on either Wii U or 3DS but if you want both it’s only $7. Corrin will be $5 for either Wii U or 3DS and $6 for both.
The most interesting part about this tweet is that both Bayonetta and Corrin will be available in the “afternoon.” And as this is the Nintendo of America account, the afternoon means the entirety of North America will have to have passed 12 p.m., so that means 3 p.m. EST will be the earliest the new characters should appear.
Hopefully this won’t be another Mewtwo release where players were waiting for hours for it to appear in the Nintendo eShop.
We reached out to Nintendo for exact timing on the Bayonetta and Corrin releases and we hope to hear back soon.
We will continue to update as soon as we learn more. In the meantime, take a look at Bayonetta and Corrin in action against one another below and let us know who you are purchasing in the comments section.
