It hasn’t been long since the last Super Smash Bros. Wii U update. Back in March, Update 1.1.5 gave a ton of game balances to the popular Nintendo fighting game for the Wii U and 3DS but now Nintendo has confirmed Update 1.1.6 is coming soon.
Unfortunately, Nintendo did not give a solid date as to when this new update is coming but it was revealed how much memory is needed to download the patch. Players will need 61 MB for the Wii U version and a huge 325 MB for the 3DS.
The large file signifies that the Super Smash Bros. 1.1.6 update will be substantial and likely have a lot of game balances.
Update 1.1.5 saw balances to Bayonetta and Corrin , the two latest (and sadly last) additions to Super Smash Bros. 4 among other characters.
Patch notes are not made available once the update goes live but there are plenty of forums and places where dedicated Smash players calculate and find all the changes. We’ll update the date of when the patch is installed and what changes are made once Super Smash Bros. update 1.1.6 goes live.
In the meantime, let us know what you hope is changed once update 1.1.6 pops up on your Wii U and 3DS. Which character needs a buff the most and which needs a nerf? Sound off in the comments section below.
