‘Supergirl’ Is In Another Dimension That’s Not The Arrowverse

Fans are expecting to see how Supergirl fits into the Arrowverse tonight when Supergirl Season 2 premieres Monday night on The CW. But that’s not going to happen, according to Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg. As revealed last season, she’s in a different universe and it’s going to stay that way.

When Entertainment Weekly asked Kreisberg if he’s planning on bringing Supergirl into our universe (meaning the Arrowverse), Kreisberg said “Not for her entire world, but Kara will be traveling from her dimension to our dimension, “our” being the world that The Flash, Arrow and Legends lives in.”

So it doesn’t look like Arrow or The Flash will be traveling to National City anytime soon. The Legends would be the group most likely to stop by National City since they have a sly timeship that can get them just about anywhere they’d ever want. Kreisberg’s comments align with earlier rumors that we could see Supergirl visit Star City for a crossover with Arrow this season. How Supergirl will get to the Arrowverse remains to be seen. Since she’s now the most powerful superhero on DC TV, we can’t rule out the possibility that she somehow has the power to travel across dimensions. Her flying speed does rival the flash at super speed after all.

What do you think? How will Supergirl get to Star City or Central City? Let us know in the comments below. Supergirl Season 2 premieres Monday, Oct. 10, at 8 pm.
