Pokemon Legends: Z-A: Artist Shares Artwork For Mega Feraligatr, But Does it Pass Reddit Vibe Check?

Cap or no cap?

Knowing that "Pokemon Legends: Z-A" won't give Flygon a mega evolution will be heartbreaking for those who wait for a decade to give the Ground/Dragon Pokemon a buff it deserves. However, it's still a rumor so just chill for now.

To cool your heads off, check the latest interpretation of the leaked Mega Feraligatr as posted by a Pokemon artist on Reddit.

Reddit Artist Draws Mega Feraligatr Concept Artwork

In the r/LegendsZA subreddit, Reddit user DoggoMcDingo posted their own interpretation of the leaked Mega Feraligatr. The artwork is shown in 3D and as a concept piece.

Based on the illustration, Feraligatr receives added colors on its head and legs. It could signify that it's getting a new type, which we still do not know at the moment. Possibly, it's only between Dark and Dragon typing.

In the second picture, we could see that Mega Feraligatr appears to be hiding behind a dragon's head. It looks like a mascot at first glance, but this could work as a new gimmick in Lumiose City.

"Pokémon Legends: Z-A" mega evolutions are the most sought-after information that fans always want to hear from the leakers. Since over 20 Pokémon are reportedly receiving new mega evolutions, it's understandable why Pokémon gamers are excited to see what's next behind these sketches.

There's also a sketch of the leaked Mega Feraligatr. It looks like Bowser when you pay close attention—just in a Pokémon fashion. But if this new Mega Evolution indeed has an eerie dinosaur-looking transformation, this could be a turning point for every Feraligatr fan since its Generation 2 debut.

'Pokémon Legends: Z-A' Fans Have Mixed Opinions About Mega Feraligatr Artwork

While the concept artwork has its fair share of ups and downs, some Reddit users want the artist to know that the art is well-appreciated. Although it's not perfect, it's still a good starter as a lead for the leaked Mega Feraligatr model.

"I'm going to be honest. Not a huge fan of this design dont get me wrong absolutely bad ass but the giant head on a small head kinda puts me off," one Reddit user wrote.

"I saw a brilliant design that gave him massive arms, and it made sense and looked cool," another user posted on the discussion forum.

"I don't want to be mean but it's kind of terrible. I was worried for a second this was what the leaked design was," one replied.

"Not a huge fan of this for this particular Pokémon, but I do love the concept, it's really cool! I think I'd prefer a more jaw-focused Pokémon like Tyrantrum, though," one Redditor compared Mega Feraligatr artwork to Tyrantrum.

"Did he steal RegiDrago's thingy?" one joked.

While others think it still needs improvement, especially in design and colors, other Reddit users praised the work he put in to end up with the concept.

"Lmao this is so stupid but also so intimidating. I would have to rethink my starter decision if this was real. Good work!" one user said.

"As cool as you made your rendition, per all the leaks non of these megas are gunna look good tbh. Game should've kept regionals tbh," another user agreed to the previous comment.

"Sick! love that you paid attention to the hood, imagine buddy running on all fours with it closed!" another praised the design.

At the end of the day, it's still better than the allegedly fake Mega Starmie leak.
