Time-bending shooter game SUPERHOT is getting released on PC Feb. 25. This news comes from a press statement released by the developers. Along with this release date news, there is also a new SUPERHOT trailer to check out.
SUPERHOT is a stylish FPS game with a unique twist. Time in the game only advances forward when your character is in motion. Stand still, and everything stops. Bullets hang in mid-air even. You can read our impressions of SUPERHOT from E3 2015 right here.
One of the biggest changes seen from the last time we played SUPERHOT and the trailer above is the added emphasis on melee weapons and attacks. SUPERHOT started out as a game with shooting only, and clearly has evolved to include swords and even objects laying around levels that can be used to fight off enemies.
Along with the confirmation that SUPERHOT will be releasing to PC on Feb. 25, we also have a release window announced for the Xbox One version. SUPERHOT will be coming to Xbox One some time in March. There are currently no plans for a PS4 release.
