The hardcore base-building survival game Surviving the Abyss is now available on PC through Steam Early Access. The game has players oversee a self-sustaining science laboratory located at the dark bottom of the sea. It's priced at $19.99 but offered at 10% off until January 25.
The game is set at the height of the cold war with the deep sea research facility carrying out secret experiments. To make sure that the lights remain on and the scientists are fed, players need to explore and mine the seafloor to get resources. There are also unlockable options for expansion.
