If you’re looking for a game about secret experiments and undersea suspense, then Surviving the Abyss should be a good choice. You’ll have to wait for a while though since its arrival on Steam Early Access is on January 17, 2023. The game challenges players to build and maintain a science lab located at the bottom of the sea.
The game is the debut title by Rocket Flair Studios, published under the Paradox Arc label through a partnership with Paradox Interactive.
Surviving the Abyss is set at the height of the cold war and has players take charge of a deep sea research facility and carry secret experiments. They’ll need to explore and mine the seafloor to get access to resources to make sure that the lights are kept on and scientists are fed. It’s also a way to unlock new options and expand the facility. However, there are dangers lurking in the dark.
