Team Fortress 2’s annual Scream Fortress update has finally arrived. This time, you will be getting six new community maps to play in. There is also the Crimson Cache Case that contains some really nice goodies, including community-created cosmetics and Halloween-restricted items.
It’s Halloween
Scream Fortress XIII is here, and it features these six new community maps:
- Farmageddon
- Sinthetic
- Los Muertos
- Erebus
- Terror
- Graveyard
Now, completing Halloween contracts will give you a chance to get a Crimson Cache Case. Inside are 20 new community-created cosmetics that are part of the Crimson Cache Collection. You will also have a chance to get five new Halloween-restricted items and the taunt Unusualifier as a bonus.
On top of that, you will have a chance to get the Scream Fortress XIII War Paint Case, which contains 13 new community-created War Paints.
If you log into the game after updating, you will be given the Soul Gargoyle - an item that gives you access to Halloween item transmutations and Merasmissions. Moreover, this item tracks the Merasmissions that you’ve completed, as well as the souls you’ve collected during the Halloween festivities.
Take note that all Halloween contracts have been reset, which means you can do them again to gain more rewards. In addition, new contracts have been added for the featured community maps mentioned earlier.
