What time does the Titanfall 2 beta begin? This is the question on the minds of many fans as we head into weekend two of the public tech test. Fortunately, we won't have to wait very long. The Titanfall 2 beta start officially begins at 9 a.m. PST/ 12 p.m. EST.
So what do fans have to look forward to this weekend? Tweaks and tweaks and tweaks. After getting a lot of (mostly negative, shocker) feedback from fans on issues like pilot mobility and titan drop rates, Respawn took to its Titanfall 2 blog earlier in the week to detail the tech test weekend changes players, and to comment on some of the changes players hoped to see but probably won't (invite friends, anyone?) Here's a list of the changes:
Pilot Mobility
-We’ll be tuning air speed and wall-running speed to be faster.
-Players should once again accumulate and retain more speed when chaining wallruns.
Titan Meter
-Pilots will once again acquire a small passive amount of Titan meter every few seconds.
Bounty Hunt
-Score Limit changed to 5000 from 6000 so more games are won by score, ot time -limit.
-Banking phases reduced from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.
Technical
Outer deadzone on PlayStation controllers fixed.
Are the changes enough to satisfy disappointed fans? Or will gamers continue to make 2016 the year of perpetual saltiness? We'll have to wait until the official Titanfall 2 beta tech test weekend two start time (9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST) to find out.
Oh, and if you're looking for a workaround so you can party up and play with friends ... we got you.
