If you’ve managed to avoid The Walking Dead Season 7 this year, your next chance to catch up before the next season will be this fall.
AMC usually releases the previous season for streaming before the upcoming season’s release date. For example, The Walking Dead Season 6 went live on Netflix Sept. 15, 2016, which was about a month before The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere in October.
Netflix and AMC have yet to comment when the latest season will go live, but the companies will likely confirm the date to be some time in late August or early September.
So what did you miss in The Walking Dead Season 7? Well, Negan definitely solidified his villain status with the death of three major characters in the show. In all fairness, one of the people who died wasn’t technically Negan’s fault, but no one will believe otherwise.
That said, the final episode of the season showed all the communities were prepared for war. Negan and the Saviors relied heavily on other communities to provide them with resources. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for Negan now that his supplies will start to run low.
Negan is smart. He knows not all of his issues are solved with violence. We wouldn’t be surprised if he tried aligning himself with communities first, but we’re doubtful people want to work with him.
The scary part is Negan has the upper hand no matter what. He has the bigger army at the moment and we don’t know where his outposts are. Rick cleared out one outpost but that didn’t do much.
What do you think will happen in The Walking Dead Season 8? Will Rick overthrow Negan’s reign? Let us know in the comments below.
