The Walking Dead ’s Norman Reedus wants to prepare fans for the hell Rick’s group will endure in the Season 7 premiere.
Reedus recently spoke to the U.K.'s Daily Express about what’s to come in The Walking Dead Season 7. Not only will Negan kill one of their own, but a powerless Rick will have no clue how far the villain’s power extends. Rick’s group will have no way of knowing the size of Negan’s army or who is on his side. They will have no choice but to obey Negan’s commands and it will be brutal .
"It looks really bad," Reedus told the Express . "It looks like they are about to have a complete change of lifestyle. We know Negan has people, but we don't know the extent of his tyranny."
"Negan is a cold-blooded killer and he's got the numbers," Reedus added. "He's got an army of people who call themselves Negan. They are doing everything he says. There's no way around that right now."
Don’t worry, it gets worse.
The Walking Dead Director Greg Nicotero dished details about Season 7 during a recent appearance on AMC’s Geeking Out . Nicotero assured fans the Lucille death is just one of several horrible moments to come in the season.
"There's so much more that happens in that episode that is more heartbreaking than that moment, that by the time the episode's over it's almost too much. It's that intense," Nicotero said during Geeking Out. "It just keeps getting worse. It goes lower and lower and lower and lower."
Don’t really know how much lower The Walking Dead can go. Hey, at least they didn’t give baby Judith the horrible comic book death, if that makes anyone feel better. Baby Judith is alive and well in Alexandria, not dead on in her mother’s arms.
The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere airs Oct. 23 on AMC.
