An emotional Lauren Cohan talked about The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere during New York Comic Con 2016 and fans should be worried.

Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick moderated the NYCC 2016 panel and asked Cohan how her character Maggie might’ve handled the situation with Negan differently had she been physically ok. Cohan quickly got choked up when she tried to answer the question. She went on to say something that seemed like a goodbye to fans.

“You all have been on such a huge journey with us,” Cohan said as she began to cry.

She went on to thank fans for being so passionate about The Walking Dead franchise and sticking about for the past seven season.

“Thank you for caring about our show, and for getting mad when you don’t know things,” Cohan said. “This is larger than our lives; this is larger than our show. This is such a privilege. This is such a great thing.”

It’s possible her tears might’ve been related to possibly losing Steven Yeun a.k.a. Glenn in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere. The two have spent a lot of time together playing Maggie and Glenn, and Yeun seems to be busy with other projects these days, including Guillermo Del Toro’s Trollhunters coming to Netflix this December.

However, the special teaser shown at the end of The Walking Dead panel might point to something else. Negan keeps looking to Rick’s right in the clip as he teases him about losing one of his own. You know who is kneeling to his right? MAGGIE. Yes, Glenn is there too, but you can consider Maggie as Rick’s true right hand man. She’s a lot more diplomatic than Rick and is able to strike a deal with the Hilltop when he failed. It’s possible Cohan is leaving the show, not Yeun.
