Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom and Oceanside all played a role in Negan building his supply network. It worked in Negan’s favor for a while, but Rick is threatening his New World Order. This will lead to war and there’s nothing Negan can do to stop it.

In a new teaser for the second half of The Walking Dead Season 7, showrunner Scott Gimple breaks down the dynamics of each community in respect to their relationship with Negan. Each community represents what can happen when you work with Negan.

For example, Oceanside is an example of what happens when you go against the Saviors. The Kingdom represents a temporary peace as long as they follow Negan’s orders. The Hilltop is what happens when you have a weak leader unable to stand his ground for his people. And Alexandria is what happens when you decide to use violence to deal with threats.

As for what to expect in upcoming episodes, Spoiler TV recently published descriptions for episodes 10, 11, 12 and 13. We took the liberty of adding a little bit more detail, based on rumors from The Spoiling Dead Fans, who are authorities on The Walking Dead production. Check it out here.

One thing is certain: there will be more deaths in The Walking Dead Season 7. Don’t trust the rumblings about a less brutal second half. You’ll just look foolish when the people you care about join Glenn and Abraham in the list of Negan casualties. Look, even Norman Reedus wants your favorite people to stick around, but there’s nothing he can do to save them and neither can you.

Reedus told Entertainment Weekly he pleaded with Gimple to let Glenn and Abraham live, but it was no use.

“Yeah, and I mean, I understand when characters go through certain things, and mostly they’re cut off from the rest of the group, but I didn’t even see anybody,” Reedus told EW . “I was in a hole by myself, naked. It just did not feel right to me. I’d talk to Gimple, and I’d be like, ‘Man, this sucks. I hate this.’ And he’d be like, ‘You’re supposed to.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, there you go.’ You know what I mean? He was right. It was supposed to suck, and it did suck — for me, anyway. But you know, it just makes coming back together that much more special.”

The Walking Dead Season 7 returns Feb. 12 on AMC.
