It’s not The Walking Dead unless your favorite character dies a horrible death. Some cast members were lucky enough to survive Negan in The Walking Dead Season 7, but we don’t think they’ll make it past Season 8. Here’s who we think will become walker chow.
1. Eugene
We have mixed feelings about Eugene. The guy seemingly turned his back on Rick. He can’t just come back from that, can he? We want to be angry at Eugene, but we can’t completely blame the guy for trying to survive. Given the circumstances, we can’t say we wouldn’t have taken Negan’s offer. After all, Negan has a really sweet setup in the Sanctuary. Eugene will be around for a bit, but we do see him doing something noble in the end to save Rick’s group.
2. Rosita
This chick got Sasha killed. How does she manage to survive every horrible encounter? We wouldn’t be surprised if she was killed during the second half of The Walking Dead Season 8 after Negan’s downfall. Because let’s be real, Negan will fall at some point.
3. Carol
Carol is on her last life. She probably has one good fight left in her before she’s out. She barely has it in her to fight. Right now, she’s feeling guilty over Glenn and Abraham’s deaths. Once they’re avenged, we wouldn’t be surprised if Carol gives herself her comic book death: ties a walker to a post and lets it eat her because she thinks it’s what she deserves. Carol’s death will be a sad one, no matter how it happens on the show.
4. Greggory
Maggie needs to take over The Hilltop, but so long as Greggory is around that won’t happen. Greggory will do everything he can to undermine her authority. We don’t doubt he will try to kill Maggie, and that’s when she’ll be forced to do something harsh to show people she is not one to be messed with. We can’t wait to see Maggie rise up even more than she did in Season 7.
