Via Japanese publication V-Jump, we learned last week that Majin Android 21 is the latest character to join Dragon Ball FighterZ . We haven’t seen any footage of her in action since her initial reveal, but now that’s all changed. New footage from YouTuber CleverFOXSOL shows Majin Android 21 completely wrecking the competition in Dragon Ball FighterZ . She didn’t come to play, that’s for sure.
Android 21 is the central villain of Dragon Ball FighterZ’s story mode and her power rivals even that of Android 20, or Dr. Gero. She’s a lot better-looking than him too, that’s for sure. Her “demon,” or “Majin” form, gives her an appearance like a thinner, cuter Majin Buu, with her long, flowing locks turned white. She’s also the final playable character to be revealed in Dragon Ball FighterZ , and it’s an absolute treat to see her in action.
The footage in question pits Majin Android 21 against an all-star roster including Super Saiyan Goku. Android 21 is good with both long range and close range combat her attacks includes a whip from her long tail. She then pummels enemies up close with a barrage of blasts. Her moves are as graceful as they are dangerous against the training dummies for testing, and she’s got quite a few ways to make sure you get KO’d as soon as humanly possible. She can even use the Solar Flare ability like Krillin’s signature move, her own Kamehameha beam, and turn enemies into delicious snacks, much like Majin Buu. She’s not one to be trifled with, clearly.
Beyond her role as a playable fighter, she’ll be an important force behind the story mode, as she works alongside Android 16 to take over the world. Luckily, that’s where you, the player, come in. You’ll work with the Z Fighters to stop the dangerous duo and keep the world safe.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled for release on Jan. 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Let us know which character you’re going to main when you get your hands on it.
