We've been raving over Dying Light in the beginning of 2015 but we have outgrown the game since we haven't received a new DLC in a while. Now, a new Dying Light expansion pack titled "The Following" will arrive on Feb. 9.

Dying Light "The Following" expansion producer Tymon Smektala recently shared extended gameplay footage of the expansion to give us a closer look at what sort of new content Dying Light will deliver. First, the Dying Light expansion will introduce a new area that is unveiled after protagonist Kyle Crane stumbles upon a wounded man with a map that leads to a community of people that are immune to the zombie virus.

According to Smektala, the new expansion delivers 20 additional hours of story as well as new characters, tools, and vehicles. Two of the most exciting new contents is the stealthy crossbow that can take out enemies without raising awareness. Dying Light introduces something far less subtle as well: Dune Buggies!

The rad off-road machines are pretty handy when it comes to covering far distances very quickly. While the lack of windows makes the dune buggy rather vulnerable to zombies that manage to climb on top of your roof, nice little upgrades like an electrical cage will allow you to electrocute and kill them. A friend can also ride shotgun and as the turret support as you drive along zombie-dense fields.

Dying Light: The Following arrives February 9 as a dowloadable expansion. Check out the delightfully violent gameplay in the video from IGN below!
