It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower Hangar, in the lounge at the bottom of the stairs.
We’re still riding wave of hype, following last week’s Rise Of Iron launch and the debut of the Wrath of the Machine raid, and what better way to keep it going through the weekend than a trip to see everyone’s favorite Agent of the Nine. Xur has returned to the Destiny servers with a fresh batch of exotic equipment for those frantically trying to get geared for the new raid. It might not be enough to get you into a Wrath of the Machine team this weekend, depending on your current light level, but anything is better than nothing when trying to make the increasingly slow trek from 340 to 370.
Last week, Xur made his first appearance since the release of Destiny: Rise Of Iron, bringing a fresh set of Year 3 exotics along for the thousands (if not millions) of Destiny players who’d been stockpiling Strange Coins over the past few months. There were some old favorites on the list, including improved versions of Twilight Garrison and Celestial Nighthawk, but Warlocks were the first to get a crack at gear exclusive to the last Destiny expansion. Transversive Steps were among Xur’s wares last weekend, with Monte Carlo rounding out the weekly list, and we also got our first chance to buy Year 3 weapon ornaments from the mysterious vendor. But what will be on Xur’s inventory sheet this weekend?
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community Sept. 30 - Oct. 2:
The Armamentarium
- Defense: 350
- Discipline: 104 / 129
- Gain an additional grenade charge
- Increased Recovery for 5 seconds after taking Arc splash damage
- Carry more ammo for Special Weapons
Sealed Ahamkara Grasps
- Defense: 350
- Intellect: 36/53
- Strength: 36/53
- Gain an additional melee charge, and melee damage may reload Primary Weapon
- Increased melee attack speed
- Increased reload speed with Sniper Rifles
Voidfang Vestments
- Defense: 350
- Discipline: 56/81
- Strength: 60/85
- Spawn with full grenade. Axion Bolt gains additional seeker.
- Increases the amount of Scout Rifle ammunition you can carry
- Reduces incoming Solar Burn damage
MIDA Multi-Tool
- Attack: 350
- Magazine: 21
- This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger
- Radar stays active while aiming down this weapon's sights
Legacy Engram - Leg Armor
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and red contrails available this week, along with Motes of Light, Heavy Ammo Synthesis and Glass Needles.
Xur is also selling weapon ornaments this weekend. Players have two options, one for Truth and one for Invective, each of which cost 25 Silver Dust.
