It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower North, near the Speaker's Observatory
The last few weeks have been rather exciting for the Destiny community, as it prepares for the upcoming April Update, and the weekly disclosures from Bungie have given some players more than enough reason to stick with the shared-world shooter. Last month, Bungie unleashed the first details regarding some of the new challenges being introduced in the April Update, followed by a preview of the new and returning exotic equipment Destiny players will be able to earn in-game. This week, the company offered an early glimpse at some of the game's upcoming PvP improvements and the studio's rebalancing of the Warlock class.
Now, the community has a new reason to be excited. Five days after his last disappearance, Xur has returned to the Destiny servers for his latest 48-hour exotic item sale. The Agent of the Nine’s weekly sale hasn’t exactly been the kind of thing you write home about in recent weeks. We’ve seen multiple appearances from commonly-sold items, like The Taikonaut and An Insurmountable Skullfort, but nothing particularly rare on Xur’s inventory sheet. Of course, since the April Update won’t be live for another few days, the Agent of the Nine probably won’t have any major surprises. Then again, you never know when fan favorites (like Gjallarhorn) might show up on his list.
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community April 8-10:
Crest of Alpha Lupi
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 84
Don't Touch Me
- Defense: 280
- Discipline: 27
- Strength: 32
The Impossible Machines
- Defense: 280
- Strength: 53
Exotic Engram - Body Armor
Legacy Engram - Gauntlet
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with blue and green contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
