It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower North
We’re seven days closer to the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron, the fourth (and possibly final) expansion for Bungie’s wildly popular shared-world shooter. Seven days closer to the sidelining of last-gen Destiny players and a new emphasis on development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But the only thing any serious Destiny player will be worried about this weekend are the whereabouts of Xur, Agent of the Nine. Even if the mysterious vendor’s last few trips to the Tower haven’t inspired much confidence.
Last week, Xur returned to the Destiny servers with a largely forgettable collection of goods, all of which we’ve seen numerous times over the last two years. We might not see gear like the Helm of Saint-14 or Bones of Eao as often as we see other items, like the Crest of Alpha Lupi or Ruin Wings, but we can’t imagine there are many Destiny players who don’t already have that equipment if they want it. That said, you never know when the Agent of the Nine is going to shock the world and put Gjallarhorn (or something equally beloved) on sale. Which is why we come back week after week.
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community August 26 - 28:
Empyrean Bellicose
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 33
- Discipline: 33
Graviton Forfeit
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 32
- Strength: 31
Nothing Manacles
- Defense: 280
- Discipline: 28
- Strength: 32
Universal Remote

Legacy Engram - Body Armor
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with purple and green contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
