It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in The Reef
Things have been looking up for the Destiny community as of late. Last week, the first details on the game’s next expansion were leaked online, beginning with artwork confirming the title of Destiny: Rise Of Iron. While information on the new addition remains scarce, many fans were just glad to see Bungie wouldn’t be abandoning them in 2016, despite reports that a planned Destiny expansion had been pushed back a year. It’ll be another 12 months before we see any major changes to Destiny’s core gameplay loop. But it shouldn’t be more than a couple of weeks before we learn about Bungie’s plans for the rest of the calendar year.
In the interim, Xur’s weekly trip to the Tower should be enough to keep the Destiny community excited as we continue counting down the days until this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. While Bungie won’t have a formal presence at the show, since Activision decided to ditch its booth this year, it’s believed the next Destiny expansion will be shown during Sony’s E3 press conference and/or at the company’s booth on the show floor. But for now we’ll have to settle for hoping the equipment on Xur’s latest inventory sheet is enough to make us forget we’re still a couple weeks away from learning more about Destiny: Rise Of Iron.
Last week, the Agent of the Nine showed up to the Tower with gear we’d seen numerous times, particularly the Sunbreakers and Universal Remote. But will this week’s trip be any different?
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community May 27 - 29:
