It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found in Tower North
We’re so close to the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron that it’s kind of shocking we haven’t see a leaked copy show up in the wild somewhere. Not to say that we don’t have faith in Activision and Bungie, to protect their distribution pipeline, but keeping a lid on highly anticipated releases seems to be damn near impossible in 2016. Fortunately, even if the two companies manage to keep the next Destiny expansion under lock and key until launch, fans around the globe still have plenty of reason heading into the weekend. Xur has returned to the Tower, as he does each and every weekend, with a fresh batch of exotic goods for the Destiny community.
Last week, the Agent of the Nine shocked players around the globe with the surprise listing of The Last Word, one of the few remaining items that could still elicit real excitement from the Destiny community this close to the launch of a new expansion. The rest of his lineup wasn’t particularly noteworthy, since we’ve seen Knucklehead Radar and Obsidian Mind countless times, but even one item of note is considering a good Xur visit these days.
Here’s everything Xur is selling the Destiny community Sept. 9 - 11:
An Insurmountable Skullfort
- Defense: 280
- Discipline: 32
- Strength: 36
ATS/8 Arachnid
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 33
- Discipline: 34
Apotheosis Veil
- Defense: 280
- Intellect: 32
- Discipline: 32
Bad Juju
- Attack: 280
- Magazine: 24
Legacy Engram - Gauntlet
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and red contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
