Warner Bros Studios’ upcoming Wonder Woman will be nothing like the DC movies we’ve seen so far, according to Gal Gadot. Seeing as though how much critics and some fans disliked the movie, we hope it’s a good thing.
Gadot recently spoke about her superhero solo movie during an interview with We Got This Covered. The Wonder Woman actress explained how her film fits into the DC cinematic universe compared to Justice League, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, which all seemingly have much darker themes.
"Wonder Woman is different,” Gadot told We Got This Covered. “With this character, what I love about her so much is that her agenda is love. It’s not about fighting, it’s not about who is stronger than whom; it’s not about women versus men. It’s about love and acceptance of others. She stands for love, justice and compassion.”
Well, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was a mess. The film tried to pack in so many new characters without explaining their connections, making viewers jump through mental loops to try and piece together the plot. However, Wonder Woman’s introduction was one of the best parts in the film. Wonder Woman will be released to theaters June 2, 2017.
