A new WWE 2K17 gameplay trailer is out now, one week after we got an early look at some of the new OMG! moves coming this year, spotlighting all of the new and improved creation tools that will be available when WWE 2K17 hits PlayStation and Xbox consoles next month.
In addition to the new trailer, 2K also published new details on the various creation tools we’ll see in WWE 2K17 , including the returning Create-A-Superstar feature and the vastly improved Highlight Reel features in this year’s wrestling sim. From the sound of things, players will have more control than ever, over presentation of their created superstar(s), now that Highlight Reel videos can be used to open custom shows and/or as part of a wrestler’s Titantron video. That means you can finally incorporate your own creations in every aspect of the WWE experience.
Custom championship belts will also return in WWE 2K17 , bolstered by a collection of high quality textures that should make titles built with alternate materials (like metal or wood) more eye-catching than they’ve appeared in previous WWE 2K releases. Yuke’s is also tweaking the Create-an-Arena builder, presumably in more ways than the studio is currently discussing, with today’s update confirming that turnbuckle covers no longer have to be one uniform color.
For a closer look at the creation tools in WWE 2K17 , take a few minutes to check out the Creation Suite trailer embedded at the top of the page. Then head down to the comments section and let us know which piece of the creation suite you’re most excited to experiment with when WWE 2K17 heads to consoles next month.
