New details on WWE 2K17 hit the web on Monday, courtesy of an unlikely source, giving fans new information on the musical selections for this year’s professional wrestling simulator and the mogul asked to build the WWE 2K17 soundtrack.
According to Billboard , Diddy has been chosen to curate the soundtrack for WWE 2K17, picking up where former WWE Champion John Cena left off with last year’s entry. The news was announced on Monday morning, less than 24 hours before the first of WWE’s two weekly televised shows. Diddy will also make an appearance on WWE programming, showing up during the Aug. 8 episode of RAW, to promote WWE 2K17 (and his work on the game’s soundtrack) directly to the target audience. It also seems safe to assume he’ll be promoting the upcoming Bad Boy 20-Year Family Reunion announced back in March.
Word of Diddy’s involvement wasn’t the only news this week, either. Billboard also revealed more than a dozen songs that will appear on the WWE 2K17 soundtrack. It’s not clear if this is the entire track list, or just a portion of a larger selection, but we’ll likely learn more between now and the WWE 2K17 release date.
Here are all the songs confirmed thus far, via Billboard:
Action Bronson & Joey Bada$$ (feat. Rico Love) – “What About The Rest Of Us”
Anderson .Paak – “Come Down”
Andy Black – “We Don’t Have To Dance”
Axwell Λ Ingrosso – “This Time”
Black Sabbath – “Paranoid”
Bring Me The Horizon – “Run”
FIDLAR – “Drone”
French Montana (feat. Kojak Black) – “Lockjaw”
iSHi (feat. French Montana, Wale, & Raekwon) – “We Run”
P. Diddy, Black Rob & Mark Curry – “Bad Boy For Life”
Travis Barker & Yelawolf – “Out of Control”
Twenty One Pilots – “Ride”
Yellow Claw (feat. Lil Eddie) – “We Made It”
WWE 2K17 is in development for PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game debuts October 11.
