WWE superstar Titus O’Neil has been suspended for 90 days according to a report from PWInsider. The suspension comes after an alleged altercation the wrestler had with WWE owner/founder Vince McMahon after this Monday’s taping of RAW in Seattle, WA.
RAW ended with multiple Superstars all out on the entrance ramp during Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech. While RAW ended on USA, the WWE Network continued broadcasting from inside the arena. While the broadcast was concluding on the WWE Network, there was a minor altercation between McMahon and O’Neil.
In the video above, from Twitter user @sharker102s, we can see McMahon getting grabbed by O’Neil followed by O’Neil getting shoved away.
According to PWInsider, the reason for the suspension isn’t because of the grab itself, but is due to O’Neil’s “unprofessional conduct.” Bryan’s retirement speech was meant to be a somber time, and not the joyful, playful time that O’Neil’s actions would suggest.
If this report is true, a 90 day suspension would make O’Neil ineligible from participating in WrestleMania 32 in April.
So what do you think? Do you agree that O’Neil should be suspended for his actions? Do you think this is an overreaction to something minor? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
