XSEED Games announced that Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is released in North America in early 2025. This remastered classic from Nihon Falcom is going to be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch.
The game was first released as Ys III: Wanderers From Ys. It was then later re-released to modern platforms as Ys: The Oath in Felghana and featured improved visuals while making sure that it continued to have the core gameplay and charm of the original release. This upcoming version comes with remastered high-definition visuals and music, which means that the adventure has never looked or sounded better. Other features include multiple versions of the sweeping soundtrack, accessibility options, and brand-new character illustrations.
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana follows the story of Adol and his blue-haired companion Dogi as they go on a journey to Dogi's homeland of Felghana. They've been away for eight years and it seems that the lands are now filled with roaming monsters, a newly active volcano, and even a greedy new overlord who's extorting the suffering residents. As Dogi looks for help from his former master, Adol remains to help the locals. However, he soon finds himself embroiled in a world of conspiracies and ancient legacies.
