Xbox fans finally have more information about upcoming first-party games they can play on their console. Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct took place yesterday and it revealed details about several already announced games. However, Starfield wasn’t present at the event. The anticipated game will get its own showcase at a later date.
Minecraft Legends
Despite being owned by Microsoft, Minecraft Legends will arrive on all major platforms including PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. The game will launch on April 18 and is playable via Game Pass as well.
Forza Motorsport
The latest entry in the Forza Motorsport series, also called Forza Motorsport, is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC this year. The game will contain more than 500 cars at launch and offer a fully dynamic time of day and weather cycle. This is Microsoft’s answer to PlayStation’s Gran Turismo 7.
Hi-Fi Rush
Although the existence of Hi-Fi Rush was leaked before the official announcement, many players still didn’t know about it. The game was shadow-dropped yesterday on Xbox Series X|S and PC and is playable via Game Pass as well. As of writing, Hi-Fi Rush has a 99% positive Steam rating.
ESO 2023 Global Reveal
Thanks to yesterday’s event, The Elder Scroll Online fans know what to look forward to in 2023. A new expansion called Necrom was revealed and it takes place in eastern Morrowind. It will feature a ton of content including a playable class called the Arcanist. The DLC will launch on June 20 but you can pre-order it right now for $39.99.
Redfall
The next AAA game by Arkane is only a couple of months away. Redfall was the last game to be showcased at the event and probably the biggest as well. The FPS vampire-killing game will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC, May 2. The game sports single-player and co-op modes and Unreal Engine 5, meaning you should expect steep system requirements.
