For some reason, AMD did not include the RX 5600 XT in its "Raise The Game" bundle promotion, which usually rewards people with a free video game when buying one of the qualifying graphics cards from AMD. Although AMD did not tell why they chose not to include the RX 5600 XT in the bundle, the company has silently slipped the card into the promotion.
After the inclusion, anyone who buys a qualifying RX 5600 XT can claim Resident Evil 3 Remake, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Edition, and three months of Xbox Game Pass for PC for free. Along with the RX 5600 XT, AMD also added the non-RX version of the card and the 5600M mobile version to the bundle.
That said, the non-RX version of the 5600 is not currently available for purchase. However, the RX 5600 XT starts at $279. If you're interesting looking into the technical details of the three 5600 GPUs, you can find them below:
- Radeon RX 5600 XT—36 compute units, 2,304 stream processors, up to 1,375MHz game clock, up to 1,560MHz boost clock, 192-bit memory bus
- Radeon RX 5600—32 compute units, 2,048 stream processors, up to 1,375MHz game clock, up to 1,560MHz boost clock, 192-bit memory bus
- Radeon RX 5600M—36 compute units, 2,304 stream processors, up to 1,190MHz game clock, up to 1,265 boost clock, 192-bit memory bus
All those who were puzzled with AMD leaving out the RX 5600 XT should now have a broad smile on their faces. Even though the RX 5600 XT had a rocky launch, it is indeed a powerful mid-range graphics card. The card posed a serious threat to the competing Nvidia GeForce 2060, which received a price cut after looking at the RX 5600 XT's performance. AMD struck back at Nvidia with a surprising bios update, which boosted the clock speeds on the RX 5600 XT.
