According to affect Apple Music subscribers, no results show up when something is searched for in the Apple Music iOS app. Sometimes, a list of the results is returned, but when one of the results is tapped on, the Apple Music app returns a blank screen.

Apple Music search engine still isn't working ______
— The Aux Cord Lord (@ZaneGalaxy) February 1, 2016
The search function is a crucial part of Apple Music, and the streaming service is practically unusable without it. The issue probably lays with the API that Apple Music uses to communicate with Apple’s servers. Apple had a similar issue with the Safari Suggestions feature last week, but it seemed to have fixed the issue on its end.
There doesn’t seem to be any way of fixing it, nor has Apple acknowledged the problem yet, so the best option is to just sit tight and consider downloading Spotify. TIDAL is also offering a free 60-day trial. And Google Play Music always has a free 30-day free trial available.
