Joining the ranks of Sega, Atlus, Capcom and XSEED Games, Bandai Namco has now detailed its lineup of playable titles for E3 2019.
Even though the Japanese gaming company has been around for quite some time, it has never been a major presenter for the annual gaming event. It does, however, maintain quite the playable lineup at its show floors every year, and 2019 is no different. Besides the playable lineup, we also got to see some of the new titles that Bandai Namco will produce in the future, including Tales of Arise, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Elden Ring.
Without further ado, here is the playable lineup of games for Bandai Namco at this year’s E3 show floor.
Code Vein
The anime action role-playing game is one of the most anticipated releases of the year for Bandai Namco, mostly because of it’s Souls-like nature. Following a string of network stress tests which were participated in by players across all platforms, Code Vein is now eyeing a successful release on September 27, which was announced at the Inside Xbox presentation for this year’s E3. It will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Check out the release date trailer for the game below.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
From the creators of Until Dawn, Man of Medan is envisioned as the first in a series of interactive cinematic horror titles called The Dark Pictures Anthology. Supermassive Games will be developing this one for multiple platforms, unlike Until Dawn which was a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Nevertheless, expect the same skin-crawling horror from the developer, which this time sees a group of four friends taking a diving trip somewhere in the South Pacific. Things take a turn for the worse when a storm rolls in and they find themselves aboard a sinister ghost ship, one which they may not all walk away from. Check out a trailer for Man of Medan below, which is set for an August 30 release date.
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival
A recently announced party game for the Nintendo Switch, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival features a large roster of characters from various Disney franchises, including the iconic Mickey Mouse, Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear, and Cars’ Lightning McQueen. Disney Tsum Tsum Festival includes a variety of party games which can be enjoyed by the whole family, both online and for up to four players on a single Nintendo Switch.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
This one is a bit surprising, since its announcement was literally just earlier this week. In any case, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action role-playing game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and allows players to play as Kakarot, commonly known as Goku. Players will be able to take on many challenges across different quests, fighting the series’ iconic villains and teaming up with its greatest heroes along the way. Check out the trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot below, which is slated for release in early 2020.
