The first major DLC for Battlefield 1, called They Shall Not Pass, will be coming in March and DICE is offering up a first look at it right now.
They Shall Not Pass will feature new maps, weapons and a playable French army. At least one of the new maps will revolve around the Battle of Verdun in Northeastern France. The battle was one of the longest in the war, lasting from February to December of 1916. Another map will likely incorporate Fort Vaux into things, a major landmark of the Battle of Verdun.

Other maps are said to be inspired by the Battle of Soissons. This battle, taking place in northern France in 1918, was a site for almost 500 allied tanks that lay waste to the German army. DICE says the fighting on these maps will revolve around capturing key bridges over the Aisne River and “something big lurks” in the village of Fismes.
There aren’t many details about They Shall Not Pass because DICE wants to keep things under wraps for now. New weapons are said to come with the DLC, but there are no announcements to make about those just yet.

If you want to play the DLC as early as possible, Premium Pass holders get two weeks of early access to all future Battlefield 1 content. There are three other DLC packs planned, and Premium Pass members will get all of the content along with exclusive content like weapons, unique Dog Tags, and priority server access.
Battlefield 1 is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
