Things are going to get a lot more exciting in Bloons TD Battles 2, thanks to Update 1.4, which introduces two new events in the game, namely Speed Battles and Play with Fire.
Before anything else, you need to know a couple of terms. The Eco in Bloons TD Battles 2 is the rate of income generated every six seconds. Another is the Bloon Sends, referring to groups of bloons that can be sent to the enemy.
That said, Speed Battles is one of the new events introduced in Update 1.4. The intensity here is turned up to 11 because all bloons generally move faster, and Bloon Sends unlock a round earlier. Also, the income generated from Eco is more often, giving you enough resources to send bloons to your opponent as quickly as possible.
The other event added in Update 1.4 is Play with Fire. This tests your strategies unlike any game mode in Bloons TD Battles 2, and there are a few reasons why. First, All Bloon Sends are sent to both you and your opponent. Second, using a Bloon Boost affects your sent bloons on both sides. And third, All Bloon Sends are worth twice the eco, including eco penalties (negative eco). With all that, it begs the question: how will you beat your foe knowing that what you do affects both of you, for better or worse?

- You can now view the number of bloons the Wizard’s Necromancer and Prince of Darkness upgrades have in their graveyards for creating zombie bloons.
- You can now remap hotkeys in the settings menu (Steam only)
