Earlier this month, Supercell soft-released its next big mobile hit, Brawl Stars and are already on their second round of balance changes. Supercell is known for providing regular tweaks and adjustments to their game characters and skill set to keep gameplay nterestng and fun. While most of Supercell’s games only see balance changes about once a month, with a new game like Brawl Stars, balances occur much more frequently to keep specific characters from being over played.
Last round of balance changes saw five cards receiving balances. This go around five more ill receive adjustments. Check out all the buffs and nerfs that dropped Tuesday, below.
Brawl Stars June 27 Balance Changes: Which Cards Get Buffed And Nerfed?
- Dynamike - Super damage increased from 400 to 500.
According to Supercell, Dynamike’s ultimate was “a little underwhelming” doing only slightly more damage than his main attack. This go of balance changes should remedy that.
- Bo - Health increased from 800 to 900. Though this changes actually worries me a bit (for some reason I always seemt o get taken out by a Bo), the crew at Supercell felt this change was needed to turn him into the long-range tank they hoped for him to be.
- Jessie - Main attack damage reduced from 160 to 140. Apparently Jessie was one of the strongest characters in high-trophy games and I’m not surprised. She’s definitely one of my top three favorite characters to play.
- Nita - Reload time increased from 1.0s to 1.25s. In the right hands, Nita moves a little too swiftly, allowing her to deploy her bulky bears too often or quickly. This change will hopefully help to balance her power.
- Spike - Health decreased from 700 to 600. I haven’t seen Spike in a ton of games I’ve played, but when he’s been present, he’s definitely seemed OP. Decreasing his health will make him slightly more fragile and a little less of a tank.
What Else Changes In June 27, Brawl Stars Update?
In addition to balancing several cards Supercell also added some new maps for Bounty and Smash and Grab. The change up in maps keeps things interesting and stops team from gaining too much of a strategic advantage. Bounty is also expected to show up more frequently in game availability rotations.
Brawl Stars also saw a drop in the price of the Coin Boost feature, bringing it down to 20 gems instead of 50 and the boost lasts for 7 days.
