A follow up to the isometric real-time tactical game Brigador has finally been announced, and it’s called Brigador Killers.
After continuous teasing from developer Stellar Jockeys, especially on their Twitter page, Brigador Killers has finally been formally announced and is planned for a 2020 release. The title was also playable during the BitSummit 7 Spirits event that was held over the weekend in Kyoto, Japan.
Indie company Stellar Jockeys' Brigador had an early access release way back in October 2015, and was officially released in June of 2016. Another year after the official release, it was relaunched as Brigador: Up-Armored Edition giving the fans lengthy introductory missions, localization, lower levels of difficulty, better controls, improved lighting effects, mechanics, and many more.
In Brigadors, you play the role of mercenary pilots who betrayed their very own planet for a big payout and leave the planet for good. The more things you destroy, the more money you earn. More money means unlocking more vehicles, guns, and challenges. Go crazy and bring chaos to the city of Solo Nobre.
Brigador Killers will take you from being the traitor to being a victim. You will be given a whole new point of view wherein your team will be made up of Solo Nobreans who are out for revenge against the traitors who destroyed your city. You step into the territory of the enemy, but need to make sure to get out alive. You’ll be on a new planet with better controls and even a new storyline mode.
If you haven’t played Brigador: Up-Armored Edition just yet, now might be the perfect time. The game is available for PC, and you can get a copy for $19.99. Enter the City of Solo Nobre as traitors, for now, that is. In the meantime, we’ll wait for more news on Brigador Killers that dropped during BitSummit 7 Spirits and maybe a more specific release date as we enter the second half of the year.
UPDATE: Stellar Jockeys have opened the game's Steam page, which can be found here.
