Another player, Pretend_Tie9790, commented on a similar situation, where the Backstage Brawl mode becomes unplayable due to the fact that the count out rule is still in effect.

Most players are ranting on forums and social sites such as Reddit, labeling the glitch as a game-breaking bug. For the Universe Mode, where fantasy booking and custom storylines are reigning supreme, match rules are an integral part of gameplay.
