Are You Ready for Some Cabin Fever?

If you’re one of those who love visual novels, then you should try Cabin Fever.

The game has you live in the mountains and spend your time working remotely as a computer programmer. This is because the world has been ravaged by a pandemic, sound familiar? In between working, you get to look after chickens and tend a vegetable garden. This life may be far from society but it’s one that they prefer. After a stormy night, an injured young woman suddenly appears on the property. Should you help her?

Features of the game include:

• A stunning collection of artwork that includes more than:
  • 20 beautifully illustrated CGs
  • 140 character poses
  • 60 unique backgrounds
• An enjoyable soundtrack with 14 original themes.
• Voice performances in English with the choice to select the voice of the protagonist.
• More than three hours of gameplay with a branching and replayable storyline.

The game is being published by Sad Panda Studios. This is the same studio behind the game Hush Hush - Only Your Love Can Save Them. You can view the trailer for Hush Hush below:

Background

For those who were expecting this to be developed by Sad Panda, it’s not. Instead, it’s being done by Steam Buns Games. Fans of Sad Panda though need not worry too much. In a post, Artist Panda revealed that they are actually the same people from Sad Panda but a separate studio.

Artist Panda went on to say that Cabin Fever was in fact an experiment while preparing for Hush Hush. Ultimately, it came to a point that it could be released as a separate game.
