Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 launches on all platforms this October 28. However, you can try out the multiplayer beta a few weeks early. PC players who pre-ordered the game can play the beta from September 22 to 23. The open beta for all platforms will also be available from September 24 to 26.
All console players have to do is install the game, while PC players must make sure their rig can run the game properly. Infinity Ward has revealed the official system requirements for the beta, and surprisingly they aren’t too high.
The requirements are very similar to that of Modern Warfare (2019). It makes sense as the new game is also releasing for past-gen consoles.
As you would expect, the game will need Windows 10 64-bit with the last update, so anything lower just won’t do. You will require 25 GB of free storage space as well. The developer also mentions that players will need to link their mobile number to their Battle.net or Steam account if they want to play the open beta.

Even though these are official requirements, they are not final. The final requirements for the game could be a little different from the ones mentioned above. We know that the storage space required for the final game will definitely be much bigger than the beta.
