Capcom's Spotlight event provided a couple of exciting events for fans of its action-adventure series "Onimusha."

Specifically, Capcom provided more details on the upcoming "Way of the Sword" title. The company likewise revealed that "Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny" is getting a remaster.

While it won't arrive until 2026, Capcom has provided new updates on "Onimusha: Way of the Sword." During the Spotlight showcase, the company highlighted things to look forward to, including the game's setting and its new protagonist.

According to Eurogamer, the game is set in Edo-period Kyoto. The gameplay trailer unveiled during Capcom Spotlight can be viewed below.

'Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny' Remaster

Fans of the 2002 game "Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny" are in for a treat as the classic game is officially getting a remaster. Set in Medieval Japan, the game focuses on the journey of the protagonist, Jubei Yagyu, as he battles the demon army of Nobunaga Oda.

While not many details have been revealed for the master, the game can be expected sometime this year. It will be available for the PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
