Captain Tsubasa Dream Team announced that the Dream Championship 2020 tournament Finals is happening on December 12, which is December 11 EST. Like many esports tournaments, this is also done online due to the pandemic.
Before we go into the details of the competition, the Finals is going to treat fans worldwide. Yoichi Takahashi, the original author of "Captain Tsubasa," is the event's guest of honor.
The Dream Championship 2020 began in September with its Online Qualifiers. The qualifiers themselves were exclusively online and through the app. Those who'll win their respective qualifying rounds would earn a spot in the final tournament, which determines the best in the world.

- Online Qualifiers (3 players)
- Final Regional Qualifiers (3 players from each of the 4 groups)
