A new update is now live in Chromatic Souls: AFK Raid which introduces players to the new World Boss mode. This is accessible to those who managed to get Adventurer League status. They can team up in this new competitive mode and try to take down the World Boss.
The World Boss spawns at 12:00 p.m. ET every day and after a certain time has elapsed, it runs away. If players defeat the World Boss before it runs away, Elimination Rewards are sent to all players. Every Sunday, players are then given ranks based on the sum of contributions. The rewards for the top 10 are:

- Reward: 600,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 2
- Reward: 225,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 3
- Reward: 180,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 4
- Reward: 150,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 5
- Reward: 120,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 6
- Reward: 90,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 7
- Reward: 75,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 8
- Reward: 60,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 9
- Reward: 45,000 Soul Stones
- Rank 10
- Reward: 30,000 Soul Stones
It's not going to be that easy since each week the challenges increase in difficulty.

The new update adds eight new skills, two for each class, and these are:
- Knight
- Shield Boost: Fortitude
- Combust: Potent
- Rogue
- Depriver: Infection
- Sharpen: Execution
- Mage
- Biting Wind: Displace
- Magic Circle: Origin
- Druid
- Moonlight: Pulverize
- Swift: Silence

Forge and Gear Improvements
Players can now craft R, SR, and SSR Gear via Blue Gems and Red Gems at the Forge. In addition, UR and UR+ Gear can now be crafted via Gear Fusion. By enhancing their gear, players can strengthen their abilities and level up faster in the game.
