There is a new Pokémon that will receive the spotlight in "Pokémon GO" for its upcoming Dynamax event that is set to unfold this weekend. There is only one Pokémon that is featured in this event, with this renowned Legendary appearing in a five-star Max battle for players to defeat and catch for their collection.
Alongside this, the Dynamax event is also expanding on the experiences for gamers to enjoy, giving them additional chances to go to Power Spots and battle against the featured Pokémon.
'Pokémon GO' Dynamax Event: New Pokémon Coming
"Pokémon GO" announced on their official website that the upcoming Dynamax event this weekend is setting up to introduce the latest gigantic variant of a Legendary creature that has been beloved for years.
The event features only one Pokémon to debut, and this is Dynamax Suicune, which will soon be the main boss of five-star Max Battles in the different Power Spots it would spawn in.
Apart from the Dynamax Suicune spawning throughout the "Pokémon GO" map this weekend, the team is also adding a Shiny variant of Suicune to appear in-game. It should be noted, however, that it would be extremely limited in sight.
As this is part of the Dynamax event, Suicune would only be in the Dynamax variant of itself in the said Power Spots but would be limited to this form only.
According to ComicBook Gaming, Suicune would not have a Gigantamax form in the game, but it will already be a powerful creature in its Dynamax form, featuring Water-type moves.
Suicune is known for being part of the "Pokémon" franchise's Generation II or the Johto region and is one of its Legendary creatures alongside Raikou and Entei, best known as the "Legendary Beasts."
That being said, Suicine and its trio of Legendary beasts are also joined by Lugia and Ho-Oh as the five legendaries of Generation II in the manga, anime, and video games.

More 'Pokémon GO' Dynamax Weekend Experiences
The Dynamax Suicune Max Battle event is taking place in the second weekend of May, particularly on May 10 at 6 a.m. to May 11 9 p.m. local time, and would be available in Five-Star Max Battle Raids.
This means that players will have a chance to team up with other trainers to battle against the Generation II Legendary in its Dynamax form which will surely bring a challenge to players.
Furthermore, a leak claims that "Pokémon GO" is also adding another Dynamax event for another Pokémon that was already introduced before, and this is with Dynamax Grookey, the Leaf-type monkey and starter from the Galar region.
This will appear as a Timed Research event that will go ahead of the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle, with this specific event taking place from May 5 at 6 a.m. to May 6 at 9 p.m. local time.
During the Dynamax Suicune event, players may expect an increase in their Max Particle collection which is now capped at 1,600 particles. Moreover, players would also only have to accomplish a fourth of the usual adventuring distance to receive Max Particles.
Power Spots would also be refreshed more frequently come the event, and players are eligible to earn 8x more Max Particles from Power Spots.
