The hit city building simulator Cities: Skylines is coming to Xbox One this spring. This news comes from developer Paradox Interactive.
Cities: Skylines on Xbox One will include the full base game, along with the After Dark expansion. Paradox has not confirmed if other DLC packs like the Snowfall pack will be available or if modding will be an option, like it is in games such as Fallout 4 and Farming Simulator 17. There also don’t seem to be any exclusive features coming to the Xbox One version.
Additionally, Paradox has not confirmed an official release date. While we do know that spring is coming soon, Cities: Skylines could come out any time from March all the way into June. More details on a release date, price and time will be coming in the following weeks.
As of right now, there don’t seem to be any plans to make Cities: Skylines for the PS4. This could be a deal that Paradox has made with Microsoft, or it could be that Paradox wanted to focus on one console first before moving to the next one. Regardless, PS4 owners will continue to be without Cities: Skylines for the foreseeable future.
If you want to play Cities: Skylines right away, the game is already available for PC through Steam for $29.99.
