Clash Of Clans ’ next update will bring some serious troop and defensive upgrades to Town Hall 11. A forum post revealed a sneak peek of what’s next for the Golem, Valkyrie and more.
First and foremost, let it be known that Clash Of Clans’ October update is planned to release sometime next week with what appears to be a focus on the standard Town Hall. For those at the highest level, Golems will be able to upgrade to level 7 while Valkyries get pushed to level 6. Just like all major troop upgrades, the new forms will have increased HP, DPS and visual changes from their predecessors. You can check out the new designs above.
To balance out that stronger offense, Bomb Towers will soon be upgradeable to level 6 with Air Sweepers increasing to level 7. While exact stats were not officially revealed, the new Tower will feature higher DPS and greater damage when destroyed. The Air Sweeper, on the other hand, will get more HP and Push Strength. Just like the troops above, there are new visual styles to look at for both defenses. As if that wasn’t enough, players will also be getting 25 more Wall segments when upgrading to level 12.
This sneak peek arrives following teases on Friday from the U.S. and Japanese Clash Of Clans Twitter accounts. Today’s news is the first of three sneak peeks planned for reveal over the next few days. These changes aren’t major unless you’re playing at the highest level, but we expect there will be more significant news to come in the days ahead.
While no specific release date for the update was mentioned, conventional fan wisdom suggests most major patches tend to arrive on Tuesdays. If the last two sneak peeks are posted on Sunday and Monday, that timeline would make a lot of sense. That being said, Supercell has never been afraid to shy away from that trend if the studio needs a few extra days to polish new features. In fact, the closeness of its release date may be one of the most surprising things about this patch. Considering the Builder Hall 7 update just went live a few weeks ago, we weren’t expecting significant updates this soon.
Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS.
