The Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend is arriving on Android and iOS this September 22. This should be good news for those who play games a lot on mobile devices.
The collection is also set to be released on PC through Steam, October 21. When that happens, the series becomes playable on different platforms. The collection was initially released on Nintendo Switch back in December 2020.
This collection has the first three titles of the SaGa series, which are:
- The Final Fantasy Legend
- The game takes place on different worlds and is centered on a large tower. There are a total of four unique worlds that make up the tower’s different layers.
- In terms of gameplay, players control one character of a party having a maximum of four members. Players can explore various areas and interact with NPCs.
- The Final Fantasy Legend II
- The story focuses on shards, which according to legend, are from the shattered statue of the goddess Iris.
- The basic gameplay is similar to the previous game.
- The Final Fantasy Legend III
- A being known as the Water Entity has engulfed the entire world in a great flood. This same being has summoned monsters that resulted in many of the cities being abandoned. A group of warriors travels through time to fight this entity and get help from people of the future. But the group realizes that destruction is happening in all time periods.
- Gameplay is similar to the previous two games.
- Players can now choose between two races.
For the new versions, expect these improvements:
- Character speed boost
- Adjustable screen magnification
- New commemorative music and illustrations
- 4K-compatible mode (Steam only)
- Easy single-handed play (mobile only)
- A special anniversary song
- Eight different in-game wallpapers
- Choice to play with either Japanese or English text
