Developer Relic Entertainment and publisher SEGA have officially announced a November 17 release date for Company of Heroes 3, the third entry in the hit RTS series. Company of Heroes 3 will be released on PC via Steam, with a playable demo made available to interested players until July 19. To celebrate the announcement, SEGA released a bunch of new trailers, all of which you can check out below.
The playable demo for Company of Heroes 3 is called the Mission Alpha, and interested players can follow this link to sign-up for it and get an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated Deutsches Afrikakorps faction. Players who already played the first pre-alpha preview in July 2021 or the multiplayer alpha last December are eligible to play this special Mission Alpha.
Company of Heroes 3 is now available for pre-order and will guarantee access to the game’s Launch Edition. This Launch Edition includes the Devil’s Brigade DLC pack, containing the following:
- US Rifleman Cosmetic [Legendary]
- S Scout Cosmetic [Legendary]
- M18 Hellcat Cosmetic [Legendary]
- M8 Greyhound Cosmetic [Legendary]
- Pioneer Profile & Title [Legendary]
Relic Entertainment also announced a Digital Premium Edition for Company of Heroes 3, which includes the following extras:
- Expansion #1, a yet-to-be-announced DLC coming in 2023
- Premium US HQ Cosmetic [Legendary]
- Premium Victory Point Cosmetic [Legendary]
- Premium US M4 Sherman Cosmetic [Legendary]
- Devil’s Brigade DLC pack, which comes as a bonus for pre-ordering the game
Company of Heroes 3 is the third entry to the famed RTS series. This entry welcomes players into a brand-new theater of war in the Mediterranean, including fronts in the deserts of North Africa and the mountain passes in Italy. Company of Heroes 3 will also feature new units and factions, including elite squads from the American-Canadian Special Service Forces and the Gurkhas from the Commonwealth. Like its predecessors, Company of Heroes 3 is built on top of an upgraded Essence Engine for more visual clarity, fidelity, and pure cinematic action.
