The cs_summit 7 matches between FaZe vs NEW Mousesports have concluded. The matchup between the two teams was played in a best of three series.
Mirage was the first map of the series. Mousesports won three-round simultaneously thanks to Finn "karrigan" Andersen getting six kills in just three rounds. On Round 12, Karrigan got a triple kill with Deagle while peeking into the apartment. David "frozen" Čerňanský tried to make an amazing playing on Round 16, where he tried to smoke the bomb and defuse it. However, FaZe shut him down easily.
FaZe had a hard time winning rounds and barely managed to stay in the game. Mousesports won the first game with a 16-6 scoreline, which showed their dominance. Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras and Karrigan carried Mousesports with 21 kills each.
The second map of the series was Train. Frozen had an insane clutch on Round 1 and it was a post-plant situation. Frozen peeked by jumping and got the frag, taking the first round in their favor. Mousesports managed to get an 8-1 lead and after that, FaZe started winning rounds. FaZe won four rounds because of their coordination.
But Mousesports' lead allowed them to take back the map with a 16-4 scoreline, which was impressive. Frozen carried Mousesports with 30 kills and he even clutched multiple rounds, making him the MVP of the game. Mousesports won several rounds because of the fragging skills and clutch potential of each player.
