In just over a month, we will finally get to experience kart racing goodness once again with the release of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The game is set to be released on June 21, 2019, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the title’s home console, however, Activision has partnered with Sony to release new PlayStation 4 bundles with a copy of Crash Team Racing. These bundles are set to be released on the game’s launch date.
The European PlayStation Blog site announced the good news yesterday, along with three selection of possible bundles for the title. The first bundle, which I assume is going to be the most expensive, includes a physical copy of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a jet-black 1TB PlayStation 4 and two Dualshock 4 controllers. This is an excellent bundle to get into PlayStation 4 gaming if you have not already done so, and the second controller also allows you to play the game in split-screen with a friend, just like the original Crash Team Racing. This bundle is available for purchase in France, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Australia and New Zealand.
The second bundle also contains one physical copy of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a jet-black 1TB PlayStation 4, and one Dualshock 4 controller. This bundle will be made available in Australia and New Zealand.
The third bundle also contains one physical copy of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a jet-black 500GB PlayStation 4, and one Dualshock 4 controller. This bundle is set to be made available in UK, Ireland, Benelux, Portugal and Iceland.
Sadly, there are no PlayStation 4 Pro bundles announced, which could put a hamper for those looking to upgrade their PlayStation 4, or jump in with the best gear. There’s also no news if the bundle will be made available in other regions like the US and Asia. The last bundle for the PlayStation 4 Pro was the limited-edition Spider-Man bundle, which featured the Spider-Man logo as a custom decal. The Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled bundles are just jet-black PlayStation 4s, which is kind of disappointing.
Still, this is a good steal for those who don’t have a PlayStation 4 yet and want to get into the ecosystem with one of the best kart racing games made for the platform.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will release on June 21 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
