There's no question that there are already many business management simulation games available. Every now and then though, we get something that offers a twist, and Definitely Not Fried Chicken is bringing another to the genre. It's now available on Steam Early Access and currently offered at 15% off until January 26.
What's the game about? You run not one but two kinds of businesses. You're probably asking what makes it different from other games in the same genre. On one hand, you have the legitimate side of things, but the money may not be fast, so you need to have something on the side.
That's where the "twist" comes in. You're going to have to do something illegal and, in this case, all about drugs.
Breaking Bad Anyone?
In the game, you get to build your very own drug compounds from the ground up. You can do this by buying the plots of land beside your legitimate business and expanding. You can then design and lay out the complete production line while also establishing distribution routes. Of course, it's always important to have good security to ensure that "overly enthusiastic" customers won't be able to break in. You can research, as well as develop, better strains of narcotics like marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine.
Make it Legit
Having a great product, however, won't be enough especially if you can't sell it. This is where the legitimate business enters the picture. You'll need to build and manage your front, which also means selling legal goods. You can have a chain of Fried Chicken stores or maybe diversify your portfolio with other businesses. Just remember that different people have different tastes.
